Waiting for the omelette
Usually Dad cooks on Friday. It is always something simple and delicious. Today, we are going to have omelette. While we wait, Mommy took a few pictures. I hope you enjoy them.

Having fun in my new pink Chinese dress
Some time ago, Daddy went to China in a business trip. He brought me a pink Chinese dress just as I asked. Thanks, Daddy! Today, I am using it for the first time. It is so comfortable and pretty. I hope you enjoy the pictures in the gallery.

Julia, the big sister – Julia the ballerina.
Being a big sister is not easy. I am however, proud to say that I manage to juggle being a big sister, a ballerina, going to school, to Gymboree and taking music classes. Here is an example of my juggling skills – taking care of Thais while posing for Mommy before another ballet class.

oh oh
Did I just walked in naked in the middle of Thais’ nursery photo shoot???

Cooking dinner
Today, I made dinner. I called it pizza, Daddy calls it a fritatta, the books says it is a breakfast tortilla. Whatever it was, Daddy helped me do it and it had potatoes, eggs, sausage and tomatoes. Personally, I liked eating the sausage, but Mommy and Daddy quite liked eating the whole thing. I wonder what wonderful things I am going to cook next (hopefully there will be some chocolate in it this time).

My new “grown-up” chair
I am so excited. After receiving one that was missing a screw, finally my chair arrived today and Daddy assembled it for me. Mommy and Daddy like it because it is easy to clean. I like it because it is a BIG girl’s chair and now I am a BIG girl and it just feels right. I sit at the table with them and I can even help myself to some of the food without their help (sometimes they have to remind me not to put the serving cutlery in my mouth). I have been eating lettuce and spinach salad (with cheese of course), fish, rice, beans, hotdogs, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and all sorts of nice foods. Come have dinner with me some day and I can show you my new chair in person

My first ballet class
Last weekend, Mommy and I went shopping for ballet clothes. So exciting. I didn’t have to look much to find the right ballet dress for me. I fell in love with it at first sight. We also got tights and ballerina shoes. Today, I had my first ever ballet class and I got to wear my new outfit. Mommy did a ballerina hair style and off we went. I got a bit shy at first and only did a few of the movements. I met an old friend from Gymboree there. I had a good time and now I am looking forward to my next ballet class. Visit the gallery to see some more pictures.

At school
I enjoy school a lot. I like playing outside lately. Although playing at home is nice too, I really like to go to parks and to meet my friends to play. At school, I do art projects, I read books, I play in the outside playground, I role play in the kitchen and dress-up area and I play with all the different toys they have there. I especially enjoy playing with the play-doh. Last month, a photographer stopped by to take some pictures. Here they are. The artist captured snapshots of who I am when I am not at home. I hope you enjoy spying on my new secret life outside Mom and Dad’s sight.

Playing with water
Mommy filled out the pool today. I like playing in the water. Especially when Mommy fills the pool early and the sun makes the water warm. I taught Thais to splash around, but then she wouldn’t stop. I have to think more carefully about the things I teach her or it might backfire. Well, living and learning!
PS: Can you see how the summer is bringing up my curls
